Thriller!!!!!

I am learning the thriller dance for our Zombie Prom! I am going to perform it with about twenty other women and it's going to be a pretty awesome performance. I need to come up with a costume for it that looks good! I don't think I will be able to wear a prom dress.
When I practice the dance Brylie gets up and practices with me. She has a zombie walk down, and she purposely stiffens her body cuz that's what mama does! She is soooo cute! I think I am for sure putting her in ballet when she is three.

Our Zombie Prom

We have been spending the last four months planning a Zombie Prom to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We have done several "crawls" to gather donations with some of the most amazing Zombies. We raised enough money to rent out the Union Station for the event.
Yesterday was the Cherry Days Parade in North Ogden. We decided that it was a must to get a float in it. So we got a dance group (Julie Moffitts Ballet School ) to perform a piece of Thriller (yes I am a huge Micheal Jackson freak) while they walk in front of the float. We also had a hearse follow us. We had zombies follow our float and collect donations and pass out flyers. But the most amazing part was that Steve after all his hard work got a ribbon for most origional. And we had a ton of people say that ours was their favorite! I am really excited about it. Steve spent all last week working on it. I would have helped, I would have loved to help, but I ended up chasing Brylie around so I was sad I didn't get to help. I love to do set detail for haunts with Steve so it would have been fun. But Steve did a great job!
Tomorrow I will start taking dance classes to learn the Thriller Dance to perform it at the Zombie Prom! I am so excited! I hope Steve likes my costume for the performance!

Our new niece!

update

Last night at 9:02, my sister gave birth to a 7lb 2oz 19 1/2 inch baby girl named Mckenzie Cristine! both are doing great and the baby has quite a bit of dark hair and is very curious! its fun to be an uncle again, and Trish is just ecstatic to be an aunt again.

She spent so much money on that baby before she even got here! I will post pics when Izm not posting from my phone.

Other then that, me and Trish have been working on the Zombie Prom for juvenile Diabetes still and our parade float is almost together, only thing holding us back from finishing it is the constant rain! I normally don't mind it but.....I HAVE STUFF TO DO!!!!

Tonight we are spending the night up at the cabin and tomorrow probably headed to Bear Lake for a night. we need a break!

More updates to come

June update

Since we don't have internet at home, we don't get to update our blog very often. and most of our internet surfing is on our phones. which I just found out I could add blog posts on WOO! so here is an update. Me and Trish have been working very hard producing our Zombie prom for Juvenile Diabetes.

We have been hitting up local businesses for prizes and donations, and I have to say we have some pretty awesome stuff! including: a pass for the IFly indoor sky diving, a few passes for IRock rock climbing wall, a few Flowrider indoor surfing passes, 6 passes to Cherry Hill fun center, dino park passes, lots of photo shoot sessions donated, and way more. Its exciting.

I have been needing to start building our parade float, but it won't stop raining!

Trish has been making/selling the cutest baby bows and headbands to help us earn a little extra. will update more later!

Brylie Sarah

Bryie is almost 15 months old. She doesn't walk...she RUNS! She is very busy, but I have gathered that both mama and daddy were busy little things. She is a great talker, she say Thank you, and Hi, and and baba, and ball, and Donald Duck, and cupcake, and cookie, and tons of other adorable things. She watches everything mama does and is always repeating my actions...(better not pick my nose in front of her jk!)
She loves her blankets. She love her daddy, she watches for him to come home everyday. She loves loves loves to dance. That girl dances all day and her favorite toys involve music! she even has a favorite song Poker face by lady gaga! She squeals and dances like a crazy girl to that song! she also loves babies and baby dolls! She loves to sit and read books with me and points to the pictures and tries so hard to repeat the names of animals and pictures that I point out on her books. One book she loves she knows a part that she always kisses...and each time she kisses that part of the book! She is so funny! Brylie growls and it's so cute! she loves halloween like her daddy. She kisses all steve's scary props and hugs them. Steve tries to get her to kiss him, but the only time she will is if he is wearing a scary mask or prosthetic! She is our little beautiful blue eyed girl and we would be lost with out her!

Trish

I am Trish! If I say anything about myself it's I love being a mom. I love my little girl more than anything in the entire world. I have known her forever and I hope that I will be guided everyday by special Angels to help me be a good mom. I am currently working on going to school and someday I hope that I will get into the Nursing Program. I want to eventually work in Labor and Delivery. **Fingers crossed**
I enjoy being with my family. I love Pole dancing for fitness...strictly for fitness! It's empowering and you feel like you get a great workout! I haven't been in a very long time, but I love going to Adult Dance and Fitness in Ogden. They have fun classes and amazing pole instructors!
I am excited about our Fundraiser and hope that we can raise awareness and funds for Juvenile Diabetes...it's my Aunt Sarah's dream, and I will make it come true.
Anyway that's just a little about me!
Anyway that's just me.

Steve is working at the Forrest Service Building as a guard. He likes his job, but the days can get pretty long and be very boring if he forgets to update his I pod regularly. He enjoys going shooting, and is an excellent shot, although I still have so much to teach him! (he gets mad cuz I am a better shot). He loves, loves, loves Halloween. Anyone who knows Steve will tell you that he is THE Pumpkin king. (His favorite movie is Nightmare before Christmas after all. ) He has talents in airbrushing, Moulage makeup, making props and set design. We have spent hours working on sets for Haunted Houses and Steve doesn't mind putting in the long hours. And he is exceptionally talented at all aspects of the Haunt Industry. He is also a gifted at music...(THIS he will never admit to), but he has a very nice singing voice and I think that it is a shame that he never learned to play the drums because he has amazing rythm, and it's been rumored that he can play guitar.
Right now he keeps himself busy with our very first fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes! And you guessed it...it's a Zombie prom! A little of both our passions ( mine is finding a cure for JD...his is Halloween ) so it works. We have already raised over $500 for our venue rental, and have had some awesome donations for door prizes all because of his persistance.
Steve loves being a dad. As long as there is no diaper changing involved that is. He loves his little girl very much and enjoys taking her for walks and letting her play on the grass. And I must say that little girl sure likes her daddy!
We are also planning a Haunt in his mom's back yard this year that I think is going to be pretty killer...(I am not sure that I should put it that way!)
Someday I think that Steve will own a Haunt of his own. I am excited to see what ideas he comes up with for each room.

Update

Well, Parker recently got on my case about not ever updating my blog. to be honest, I dont have internet at home, only on my phone, so thats my excuse, but I'll try to be better about taking my laptop to places with Wi-Fi and get some updates on here.
right now..... not much is new. we are producing our first Zombie Prom for Juvenile Diabetes.
our first ever charity production.

We will be dressing up this saturday and walking down 25th street to get sponsors/donations/and publicity. Fox 13, KSL, and Standard examiner all want to cover our event, as well as interviews on Park City TV and Good Things Utah. so its exciting!

Trish is getting ready to go back to school for Nursing, I'm so proud of her, she'll do great, she's a genius at that stuff. ..... I am not.
Brylie is loving her "new" walking legs and is trying to run all over, her legs move faster then the rest of her body and she constantly falls backward.
